Welcome to Lifting Up Vegas

Las Vegas is known for bright lights, packed venues, and nonstop energy.
But beyond the Strip, beyond the shows and casinos, there are neighbors quietly struggling to stay afloat.
In a city built around hospitality and service, many of the people who keep Las Vegas running work long hours, late nights, and unpredictable shifts. Even with steady employment, wages often don’t keep pace with rising rent, groceries, childcare, and gas.
For too many families, there is no margin. No cushion.Just careful balancing every single month.
One unexpected expense — a medical bill, a car repair, a missed paycheck — can tip everything into crisis.
At the same time, mental health challenges and addiction affect more people than we openly acknowledge. Without stable support systems, those struggles can quickly lead to housing instability and long-term hardship.
The need in our city isn’t rare.It isn’t distant.And it isn’t someone else’s problem.
It’s here.
Why We Started
We started Lifting Up Vegas because we believe no one in our community should feel invisible.
We believe small, consistent acts of care matter.
And we believe showing up — again and again — builds something powerful.
Right now, we serve people experiencing homelessness in Las Vegas every two weeks. Not once a year. Not only during the holidays. Every two weeks.
That rhythm matters.
It means:
A hot meal for someone who hasn’t eaten all day.
A familiar face instead of being ignored.
A conversation instead of silence.
A reminder that someone sees you.
We are not claiming to solve everything. We are committed to doing something.
What We’re Building
Our goal is to grow from biweekly outreach to weekly outreach — increasing consistency, expanding support, and strengthening community involvement.
As we grow, we hope to:
Provide more meals
Offer hygiene supplies
Connect people to local resources
Create more volunteer opportunities for those who want to serve
Real change doesn’t always begin with big promises. It often begins with steady presence.
Join Us
If you believe compassion should be practical, we invite you to be part of this.
You can:
Volunteer at an outreach
Donate to help fund weekly meals
Share our mission with others
Together, we can make sure fewer people in Las Vegas feel forgotten.
This is just the beginning.
